My Thought for the Week 💭
If you follow my content outside of this newsletter (I won’t shame you if you don’t), you’ve probably noticed that I’ve been a bit inconsistent with publishing.
That’s because I’ve needed time to recharge and get myself back on track.
I was on the verge of creator burnout again - and I definitely did not want to go back to that. It’s not a good headspace to be in if you suddenly hate the things that bring you the most joy.
I love writing. I love drawing. I love editing videos (sometimes).
Why would I want to just suddenly hate all of these things? Because that’s the negative power that burnout can have on a person.
I’ve taken the last few weeks to just work on projects in moderated chunks and have been surprised with how much better I’ve felt, and how positively my audiences have responded.
If I had worked on things while in burnout mode…the results might have been the opposite.
Take those breaks if you need them. The work will always be here.
Hope you have a great weekend,
Miko

Recycling content is something I intend on incorporating soon.
It’s very easy to assume that all of our content has to be original - yet you’d be surprised at how your audience might react.
A good portion probably have yet to see what you’ve created, and if they have they might not remember or love the reminders of what you did previously!
