Can introverts be creators?
My Thought for the Week 💭
I’ve been creating a for a year and some months now, and am always so happy to share the work I’ve made with others.
Funny enough they jump to the conclusion that I’m an extrovert because of how I present myself on both my YouTube channel and podcast.
Granted there are some energy shifts between everything I do, but I am a quiet introverted soul.
I’m not exactly sure why people assume that introverts are just shy hermits that don’t like to speak on topics with others or be in front of a camera, etc.
What’s important to understand here is that introverts lose energy from social experiences whereas extroverts gain energy from social experiences.
So when I’m creating things on my own terms, I don’t always have to be stressed out by the idea of having to talk to people consistently and actually enjoy talking to a camera.
Content is for everyone, not just extroverted people. And if you’re an introvert reading this just know that you’re seen, don’t let this misconception stop you from creating!
If you want to read a short summary of how I debunk the introverted creator myths check out this Tweet.
Wishing you an amazing rest of your Thursday,
Miko

Trend Surfing 🏄
Looking for more ways to grow and reach more people? Try jumping on a trend!
It’s definitely not a bad thing to jump on trends and make content out them, because if you do you’re more likely to hit an algorithm on a topic that’s popping off.
If you’re stuck on how to go about doing this, then just remember to steal like an artist and take inspiration from existing content that’s riding the trend you’re interested in.
More information on trend surfing can be found in this video by Think Media.
Creator Quote of the Week 🗣️
“We all start with zero subscribers.”
We all start from zero. Zero subscribers. Zero views. Zero downloads. Everything.
All of the well-known creative entrepreneurs we see today started from zero and worked their way up to where they are now because of consistency, dedication, and the passion to keep going even when the numbers aren’t always there.
There are no shortcuts or overnight successes.
Once you accept this and continue making and publishing, you’ll be set up for success in the long run.
