Channeling negative energy into a positive
My Thought for the Week 💭
Things have been pretty rough for me over the last 2 months. With so much going on in my personal and professional life it can be hard to feel inspired to feel creative and make something.
The last thing I want to do is burn out creatively by doing too much, so instead I’ve opted to just do what I can whenever I have the mental capacity and channel the negative energy into my projects.
We have to put the negative energy somewhere. It can’t just stay in our heads or be used against others or ourselves, we have to put it into something that will better us or make us happy.
For some people that’s journaling, exercise, and in the case of this newsletter: creating.
I know this thought was a short one, though someone in my public speaking class taught me this valuable lesson: Sometimes saying less can leave more impact.
Hope you’re hydrating and protecting your mental health,
Miko

Remember to always be tracking your ideas 📝
The amount of times I’ve had an idea and told myself I’d remember later…unfortunately those ideas don’t exist anymore - which is why you should constantly be tracking them as they come up.
The best thing about ideas is that they don’t have to be perfect…because they’re just that, ideas. Write down whatever’s on your mind and you can refine it at a later time.
You can use your base phone Notes app, Notion, Evernote, or whatever you prefer.

Atomic Essays Galore
For a week now I’ve been participating in the Ship30for30 program in which I have the ultimate goal of writing 30 atomic essays for 30 days.
I write about tech, mental health, and content creation. I have a gallery of them here if you want to check them out.
